The only frustrating thing about it is that sometimes, the pictures aren’t always clear, so it can be hard to fully grasp their meaning without looking up a word here and there. I tried rosetta stone but find duolingo all around better. Duolingo is free, teaches you to read and speak a foreign language and allows you to listen to native speakers in the language of your choice.

This is where I think Duolingo earns more praise in the short-term from its users – you can rush through the entire course and never learn anything. The company offers a more traditional approach to teaching called Dynamic Immersion. But don’t let Rosetta Stone’s price point turn you off.
