If I adjust the strap to make it tighter it just pulls the HMD into my face more which makes no difference (other than marking my face for the next two hours after taking it off). What a horrible, horrible idea by Oculus; to not have the ability to adjust the focus of the lenses just like in their other consumer version HMD. Seriously... in the CV1, I found I had to wear my glasses for light near-sightedness... normally I don't use them for distances up to about 2m, or for usual computer monitor distances ,etc. I do not have much trouble in real life. I can't get a really sharp image (I am not talking about the screendoor effect or the low resolution). EDIT: Actually, it gets very uncomfortable very quickly wearing glasses in the Rift. There are far too many people (driving around) with bad eye sight without them really realizing it. I would hold the headset away from your face and have a second person take measurements of how far you need to be away from the sensor then look up different foam pads that you can replace it with. best of luck. No. Use the advice on the page above to put on and take of the Rift CV1 when wearing glasses as you have to place and remove the headset over and away from the glasses from the front rather than sliding it down and over from the back as might be usual without glasses.

If I make the top strap looser the HMD just slides down my face and then I get that blurring problem because my eyes aren't in the right place.

I got the green cross to look as sharp as I possibly could - although since it's bright green it has a certain amount of bloom to it which can make it difficult to gauge just how sharp it is.
Hi I had a problem with it being overly blurry to and text hard to read, i noticed in oculus home settings that it showed USB 2 and not three, so i updated drivers and it changes to usb 3 and the picture was much sharper. I am usually quite quick at focusing on cross eye picture but in the rift, if i scale me, object logically get smaller and can be seen from a virtually closer distance.
I have the CV1 slider bar for IPD set exactly to my measured distance (69mm), but that does not affect the blurriness if I use the CV1 without glasses.
